Scientific Council

Scientific Council

The Scientific Council is the highest collegial governing body of Sumgayit State University, responsible for strategic academic and institutional decisions.

Sustainable Development Center

The Sustainable Development Center was established by order dated May 29, 2024, to promote sustainable development principles, conduct public awareness campaigns, expand industry-university partnerships, and implement educational and research projects.

Mission

To promote sustainable development principles, conduct public awareness campaigns, expand industry-university partnerships, and implement educational and research projects aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Sustainable Development Committee

Established by Scientific Council decision (Protocol No. 02, dated 25.10.2022) to promote sustainable development. The committee aims at ecological, economic, and social sustainability of the university and alignment with the UN's 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
